Reminders:

• Tomorrow is our Easter Spirit Day! Students can come in spring colours!
• Friday, April 19th and Monday, April 22nd the school will be closed for Good Friday and Easter Monday. 
• Tuesday, April 23rd is our Earth Day Spirit Day, students are to come in blue, green and/or brown
• Wednesday, April 24th is Casual Day!
• After the Easter weekend, we go back to our summer uniform! If your child is not participating in the spirit day, or casual day, they are to be in the short sleeved polo shirt.

Donate to people who are homeless 

Hi!! Our names are Mona, Joana, and Shivam. 

We are doing a project called Exhibition where we choose a topic we are interested in and want to research more about in order to make a positive difference in our world. We chose the topic of homelessness because we do not want anyone to be without their basic needs. Every person has the right to have a home and food to eat and clothing to wear. 

 We are collecting donations so that we can donate them to Angela’s Place, a homeless shelter right here in Mississauga.

You can donate:

• Non perishable food
• Clothing (for all ages such as Pants, shirts, hats ,shoes and more) 
• Toiletries (mouthwash, feminine products, toothpaste, toothbrush, and deodorant)  
• Seasonal clothing
• Baby formula 
• Diapers 
• Baby products 

Reason why we are doing this= Our plan is to help people who are homeless who need food and clothing and any other useful materials. After collecting these materials, we are going to donate all these items to a shelter called “Angela's Place” (45 Glenn Hawthorne Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5R 4J9).

Please bring in items by Tuesday April 23, 2019 to Ms. Jaskolka's class (Room 30)

Inquiry Centres
The students had fun exploring inquiry centres!

Journals
The students wrote "Happy Easter" in their journals!

Math
The students were given a worksheet with different sized giraffes, and squares beside them. They were to colour in the squares to the height of the giraffe.

Cosmic Kids Yoga
The students enjoyed participating in yoga!

French

French was cancelled today as Mlle. Jessica had to cover another class. 

Easter Activity

The students were given a worksheet with a picture of an egg with shapes inside, each shape was given a colour. They were to colour in the shapes with the corresponding colour.
