Reminders:

• Proper jackets, hats and gloves must be worn now that the temperature is dropping!
• Please send your child with snow pants when it snows. They will be kept in their cubby until Fridays. If you need them sent home for any reason within the week, please email me. 
• Please remember to leave the black pair of shoes, and gym shoes in your child's cubby. 
• Hot lunch orders can now be placed! The special of the month is spaghetti and meatballs.

Inquiry into Language 

Today the students listed words that begin with the letter M, and sang the song of the week. They later watched Sesame Street Podcast Letter M. The students that did not write in their phonics books yesterday, did theirs today.

Math 

Today we worked on probability. We talked about different scenarios and if they could happen, or could not happen. The students said that two dice landing on the same number could happen, but later they said it would not happen a lot. They then took turns rolling the die.

Daily five 

At the end of the day, the students had the opportunity to read books by themselves. They enjoyed looking at the pictures. 

Summative Presentations

We had our last student present their Amazing Bodies summative assignment. She did a good job!

Christmas Concert

Today we continued practicing our dance for the Christmas concert! The students are doing very well!
