Reminders:
- Our class is in charge of the bake sale this month! Please bring in enough items for 20 students, and ensure they are nut free. Please bring it on the 30th, the items that are not sold then, will be sold on the 31st! If you have any questions, please let me know.
- As our Halloween dress up day is coming up, please remember a few of our guidelines about costumes at school:
- No masks
- Nothing scary
- No weapons

Inquiry into Language
We went over past letters of the weeks, words that begin with those letters, and the sound the letters makes. We also began writing in our phonics books, I sat with the students one on one and began writing the letters C and K. Not all of the students had a chance to do theirs today, but those remaining, will work in their books on Monday! While those students were working on their phonics booklets the rest of the students were doing inquiry centres.

Pumpkin Investigation
We conducted a pumpkin investigation today. We counted the number of lines it had, how it felt inside, how many seeds were inside, and the colour.
Pumpkin Carving
We created Mr. Pumpkin today! The students decided on triangle eyes, circle nose, a smile face and happy eyebrows. They enjoyed being able to name the pumpkin, and they sang happy birthday to it!
