Reminders:

• Our class is in charge of the bake sale this month! Please bring in enough items for 20 students, and ensure they are nut free. Please bring it on the 30th, the items that are not sold then, will be sold on the 31st! If you have any questions, please let me know. 
• As our Halloween dress up day is coming up, please remember a few of our guidelines about costumes at school:
• No masks
• Nothing scary
• No weapons
• Picture day is tomorrow! Students are to wear their full academic uniform. This includes the vest, as the white shirts can become dirty very fast.

Daily five 

Today we had our reading buddies join us! The JKs enjoyed having the grade 3s read to them. They were able to pick different books that they wanted to hear, and they were also able to flip through the pages. One group of grade 3s, had their reading buddy guess what the story was about based off of the cover!

Inquiry into Language 

Today the students listed words that begin with the letters C and K. They also sang the song of the week and watched Olive and the Rhyme Rescue Crew. They later did the spot and dot for the both letters this week!

Math 

We worked on a Halloween counting activity today. The students were to bingo dab the correct number, depending on the amount of candies in the box!
